As part of The Business Club Australia - India 2010 [BCA India 2010] activities coinciding with the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi, The Australian Trade Commission is organising a Session on “Women in Sport” on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in New Delhi.
The session will discuss the role of women in international sport and the role of sport in the development of women. The session will also highlight opportunities for women in the Sports Industry/ business.
Ms Kate Palmer, CEO, Netball Australia will present a Case Study at the Session on the role of Netball for promoting women participation in sport and using the sport to achieve Women’s health and social outcomes.
The Australian Trade Commission invites participation from women sporting associations, sports club and Indian organisations that are interested in developing sport and sport based activities & programmes targeted at women.
