Australian Cleantech mission to India

Activity Details

An Australian Cleantech mission comprising of 8 organisations visited India between 11 – 15 April 2011.

 

Australian clean tech mission offered services and products catering to the needs of Energy Efficiency, Environment Management Services, Recycling, Air Quality monitoring industries.

 

The Australian cleantech mission to India from Australia  focused on developing mutually beneficial business relationships, through showcasing & offering Australia’s expertise & capabilities in the areas of clean technology for the Indian market.

 

The cleantech mission visited Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi on the following dates:

 

Bangalore : 11 – 12 April 2011

Mumbai : 13 April 2011

 

New Delhi : 14 – 15 April 2011

 

 

 

 

Participants at the Australian Cleantech Mission to India included

 

Earth Systems Pty Ltd - Providers of environmental management and assessments in the resource development and waste management fields; water quality management and treatment as well as developing and implementing remediation strategies for polluted waterways and water bodies; acid drainage of mine site water; greenhouse gas services including energy efficiency and emission reduction strategies

 

Ecotech Pty Ltd – Manufacturers of air quality monitoring equipment catering to Ambient air quality monitoring, particulate and dust monitoring, aerosol analysis, source emissions monitoring, data acquisition and management, Instrument calibration blast monitoring, meteorological sensors

 

Entura Hydro Tasmania Consulting Pty Ltd – Australian firm offering technical consulting services in renewable energy including wind energy mapping, technical feasibility studies, environment planning and water sector

 

VR TEK Global Pty Ltd – Providers of tyre recycling technology based on de-vulcanisation process, which is environment friendly and less energy intensive compared to existing processes

 

Swinburne University of Technology – Australian University offering industry oriented courses across solar, industrial automation, aviation and other sectors

 

EPA (Environment Protection Authority) - Australian independent statutory authority to establish environmental standards and assess against them; regulate against these standards; and work with organisations to meet the standards

 

Net Balance Pty Ltd – Australian firm offering advisory services in the areas of corporate energy and green gas emissions strategy developments, feasibility and scoping studies for renewable energy and energy efficiency options, energy efficiency audits, sustainability strategy, reporting and assurance, climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy, environment, stakeholder engagement and economics
