An Victorian Automotive delegation recently visited India. Part of the Victorian Government’s Trade Mission to India, led by Hon Louise Asher, MP, the 9 member automotive delegation representing leading Australian suppliers was led by Mr Barry Comben, Chairman of Auto CRC.
The delegation visited facilities & met with key decision makers in the Indian automotive industry in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.
Air International Thermal Systems formally announced its Joint Venture in India; Futuris and Supertrim are close to finalising their Joint Venture in India; Davies Craig received additional orders for proto development of Electric water pumps; An MoU was signed between The Federation of Automotive Products Manufacturers, Australian Trade Commission & Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India in New Delhi.
