Queensland based Pearls MiiHome completed its first housing project in India for the Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation (KSPHC) in Bangalore. Pearls MiiHome is the inventor and owner of the patented Climasteel Building System, a unique world-first technology for readymade homes.

As part of Austrade’s ongoing client service engagement with Pearls MiiHome, the Austrade Bangalore office had facilitated a meeting for the MiiHome group with KSPHC. The state owned police housing department was in immediate need of 60,000 houses for its staff. Impressed with the innovative & rapid construction technology of the MiiHome concept, KSPHC awarded a sample home contract to Pearls MiiHome.  The sample home, built in 17 days was inaugurated on 21 October 2011 by the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
