Modular mining offers a full line of products and software to meet the needs of open pit, underground, and rail operations and Modular’s products are designed to integrate mine operations, both open cast and underground, in real-time by using the latest in communications, information, and GPS technology. These products allow mines to carefully manage all their assets at all times, and optimize the productivity of the entire mining cycle.
Modular’s intelligent fleet management system, especially Modular’s dispatch system have been increasing the throughput of mines by optimizing truck-shovel operation in open cast mine and reduces operating cost like diesel consumption, crew scheduling, tyre savings etc. The high precision systems increases productivity by proper grade control and by avoiding less miss loads.
Modular’s innovative technology product line also includes autonomous haulage—the world’s first driverless mining truck technology.
Modular’s customers in India include coal mining and iron ore companies. Modular has worldwide reference of installations in more than 180 mines in China, Indonesia, India, South Africa, North America, South America and Russia

Australian Mining Technology Expertise
Australian companies are leading the world in e-business solutions for the mining industry. At least 60 per cent of the world’s mines are now operating with Australian-made and designed software. Australian companies have applied some of the most innovative advances in processing technology in recent years. Mining companies are looking at extracting the maximum percentage of metals and minerals from each tonne of ore. Higher the refinement of the mined product, lower the transport cost. Australian Mining technology services companies have developed process control systems to benefit mining companies in other aspects of the mining process. At the ore face, static systems report payloads, weight distribution and cycle times directly from the shovels and trucks, enabling the most efficient use of the vehicle fleet. Remote control systems are now being used by more and more mines, with underground vehicles operating without the need to endanger personnel
