The Australian Trade Commission recently facilitated a distribution agreement for launch of “Twist‘n Shake caps in India.
Twist n Shake caps is a patented technology distributed in Asia/Pacific, Africa/Middle East and Europe by AsiaNutrition, a Sydney-based company. All ingredients (vitamins, flavourings, natural colours etc) & functional (health giving) formulations are suspended in a unique, proprietary self-preserving non-aqueous base, which is loaded into the sealed “Twist‘n Shake” cap. In this way only the desired quantity of functional formulation is dispensed and the consumer, by mixing the contents with the beverage in the attached bottle immediately prior to consumption, receives the full “dose” significantly less degradation or oxidation than conventional pre-mixed functional beverages. While shelf life is also radically enhanced, the Twist’n Shake cap offers multiple levels of Tamper Evidence to ensure consumer safety.
An agreement was signed between AsiaNutrition and Omnishe International Technologies Private Ltd to initially distribute and then locally manufacture Twist‘n Shake caps in India. Omnishe are significant players in bottled water technology in South Asia. This technology opens up a significant market opportunity for the Indian beverage industry to offer customised beverage options for consumers in India and other countries and, in particular, options tailored to deliver specific functional benefits such as eye health, gut health, joint health, calming, stimulation, energy, sports recovery, kid health and more than 25 other tested formulations in a novel and effective format.
